On the 21st of January, our project coordinator, Arne-Jan Polman from Port of Rotterdam, and the coordinator of our sister project PIONEERS, Inge de Wolf from the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, have executed a workshop on both projects for a group of international students taking the Port Economics and Business Course of the C-MAT – MSc in Maritime/Air Transport Management in Antwerp. During the session, the students split up into three groups and helped us identify and find solutions for barriers to transition into the field of automated vessels, night distribution and battery containers. The groups gave us some interesting insights that will be used in both projects.
