At the end of January, the work package leaders presented the project results up until October 2024 to the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). This concerned the second official reporting period of 18 months, also marking the 3-year anniversary of the project. During this presentation of results, the achievements of each of the demonstrators and work packages were highlighted as well as the lessons learned and the barriers that they are facing in regards to testing or implementation. The day ended with a positive impression for the CINEA representative. The MAGPIE project was asked to consider the policy advice it would provide to the European Union based on its lessons learned in the last trimester of the project.
In the final trimester of the project, many important milestones are expected to occur. Demonstrators are being tested on site and achieving their final objectives. Collaboration with other European projects will increase in order to exchange knowledge. The MAGPIE project will also organise exhibitions in Rotterdam and Le Havre and a final conference in Rotterdam.
