On December 3 and 4, the European Green Deal projects – MAGPIE, PIONEERS, OLGA, STARGATE, and TULIPS - jointly organized a conference to present their mid-project findings to the European Commission as well as to relevant stakeholders. This conference was an important and valuable moment for the projects to exchange lessons learned and results found so far as well as present their advancements to a European stakeholder audience, who are key players in the topic.
During the afternoon of November 28, the 19th World Conference Cities & Ports organized by AIVP (MAGPIE Consortium member and WP2 leader) focused on energy transition in ports and port cities. It was an opportunity to bring together players involved in the European MAGPIE project and its sister project PIONEERS. Zenaida MOURÃO, Senior Researcher for INESCTEC and WP4 leader moderated the one-hour round-table session. The roundtable included: Reyer WILL, Patrick VAN CAUWENBERGHE, Miguel CASTRO, André LISBOA, and Luane LEMOS AGOSTINHO.
An important facet of the European MAGPIE project is the dissemination of results and knowledge to various audiences and stakeholders. One of the key audiences are research actors and students. The MAGPIE Consortium therefore works on publishing various academic papers on the results and findings of our project.
